Recently, Dr. Xie Jun, CEO of the Asia Pacific Investment Bank and the Asia Digital Bank, led a senior executive team from China Great Wall Computer Group Co., Ltd. to the Monument to the Unknown Heroes to carry out a themed educational activity titled “Honoring Revolutionary History, Carrying Forward the Red Tradition.” Through ceremonial acts such as presenting flower baskets and reciting revolutionary classics, the event aimed to deeply embed the spirit of the red tradition into the practice of aligning financial services with national strategic objectives.
Standing solemnly before the Monument to the Unknown Hero, Dr. Xie Jun expressed with deep emotion: “These unnamed heroes, whose names are engraved on this monument, embodied the power of faith with their lives. Their spirit is like an eternal flame, constantly reminding us of the initial mission of financial professionals — to nourish the soil of development with the living waters of finance and to serve national strategy through innovation.” He particularly emphasized the importance of inheriting the revolutionary spirit of “the greater the difficulties, the further we advance” and transforming it into practical momentum for building the China–ASEAN digital finance corridor.
Dr. Xie Jun pointed out that the Long March for financial professionals in the new era lies in overcoming technological barriers in areas such as cross-border payments and currency settlement. Asia Digital Bank will leverage China Great Wall’s technological strengths to accelerate the creation of a blockchain-based trade finance corridor connecting China and ASEAN. “Loyal bones rest beneath green hills; blood and sacrifice forge eternal monuments. The new journey beneath our feet is to transform the spiritual legacy of unknown heroes into the genetic code of financial innovation,” Dr. Xie emphasized, Asia Digital Bank will launch the “Red Finance Leadership Initiative”, hosting quarterly cross-border finance action sessions to ensure that the red tradition truly flows through the veins of financial practices serving national strategy.
